Origins 2010 Recap

Thank you to our fans, sponsors, volunteers and GMs for a great Origins show this year! If you attended Origins this year, you helped increase attendance from last year by more than 5%, bringing in 10,669 people. Sponsorship jumped this year to 19 sponsors. Thanks to all our sponsors for making the show bigger and brighter with great advertising, prize support for game events and tons of other support! The Exhibitor’s Hall was a great success as well! This year’s space was sold out; full of vendors from all over the country selling their goods. A special thank you goes out to this year’s volunteers. Without all of your hard work and dedication, Origins would not have been possible. So, THANK YOU!

“My biggest thrill was seeing the youngsters in the kid’s room and watching them as they enjoyed the activities of the show!” says GAMA Executive Director, John Ward. “I think it is a testament to the hobby as a whole that we are in the business of ‘fun’ and I am excited when I see that next generation joining us all in the games we love and enjoy.”
